Our Mission
Through our App we will keep you up to date on your local, state, and federal elections as well as propositions, bills, and all other issues that will affect you and your community. But none of this is possible without you. Back when our country was founded we all knew our elected officials personally. You could speak directly to or have your inquiry answered directly by your representatives. Our world has changed and is much bigger, but we are also much more connected. Pollitics is a tool that we can use to inform ourselves and keep our elected officials in check. Pollitics allows us to make sure our elected officials look out for the interests of the PEOPLE.
The goal of Pollitics is to
1. Educate you, the voter, on political issues and let you discover your own political leaning
2. Aggregate the data and make it transparent to discover public opinion (i.e. The will of the people)
3. Create a non-partisan, non-profit company that cannot be influenced by special interests
4. Create a system where you can hold politicians accountable
Information is power
You may not know the issues, but you know what you value. We ask you questions, you answer. Your answer then tells you how to vote on the topic at hand. No more political bias and spinning of topics, just the cold hard facts. Then you decide.
